About Me
I'm Just Me.
I don't lead with my name or photo here.
Not because I'm hiding—but because I don't want ideas to rise or fall on my biography. I'd rather they stand on clarity, coherence, and fruit.
We tend to judge thoughts by the person attached to them. We dismiss good insights because we dislike the messenger. We cling to weak ones because they come from someone we admire. I'd rather not play that game.
So this space keeps the spotlight on the work.
That doesn't mean I'm detached from it. Quite the opposite.
I'm a flawed person trying to grow. I believe things I don't always live perfectly. I change my mind. I contradict myself. Growth requires that. My inconsistency doesn't invalidate a principle any more than a crooked carpenter invalidates the concept of straight lines. It simply reminds us that truth and maturity are not the same thing.
Online, I go by OldSoul.
If you're curious what that means, here's the simple version:
I'm an old soul in a young-ish body. Comfortable in solitude, capable in crowds. I work to understand people—even when I disagree. I don't always move with the crowd, and I've made peace with that.
I prefer the small things. A low-maintenance life. Depth over display. I don't care much about being admired by everyone—but I care deeply about being meaningful to the few who matter.
This garden reflects that.
You won't find a personal brand here. You'll find a person thinking in public.
Take what helps. Leave what doesn't. Let the rest compost.
"There is a beautiful thing inside you
that is thousands of years old.
Too old to be captured in poems.
Too old to be loved by everyone
but loved so very deeply
by a chosen few."
